Boilers Reef

Boilers Reef: One of the best lefts on the Gower with a tube section on the inside. The reef here is fairly even but the remains of a ships boiler marked the paddle out for many years .This is a break not to be toyed with by anyone less than the proficient. In big surf the deep water passage in the middle of the bay allows access to some of most powerful waves in the area. When the tide is out ,100 yard rides are possible.Boilers is about fifteen minutes walk from the nearest parking at Overton. Make sure you have parked off the road.
